Brock Lesnar, the professional wrestler, turned UFC champion, turned professional wrestler, turned mixed martial artist, returns to the Octagon on Saturday at UFC 200. It will be the first time Lesnar has fought without a script since December 2011. Back then, Lesnar had the biggest hands in UFC history, wearing 4XL gloves in his fight against Allistair Overeem. Lesnar arrived in Las Vegas this week ahead of his fight with Mark Hunt and during a meeting with the UFC’s equipment managers, realized his giant hands had gotten even more giant-er.

Lesnar’s hands barely fit in the 4XL gloves which means that there is no way he’ll be able to wear them with his hands taped. So Lesnar did what any normal person would do when an article of clothing is too tight – he asked to see the next size up. The only thing is, gloves that big do not exist.

So the UFC equipment guys are apparently tasked with stretching the gloves so they’ll fit by Saturday night. If that doesn’t work, I guess Lesnar will just have to go out there wearing two first baseman’s mitts with the tops cut off. That’s what Lesnar gets for never skipping hand day at the gym.
