This short clip from Tuesday night’s Marlins-Mets game is simple and beautiful. A loud New York fan informs everyone within earshot that Giancarlo Stanton is overrated just seconds before the slugger blasts a three-run homer.
Boom. Roasted.
What makes the immediate karma even better is the fact Stanton had gone deep in his previous at-bat and followed this bomb up with two in his first two-at bats on Wednesday to tie a Major League record.
There’s never a great time to heckle but this dude literally picked the worst window.
