Angels 3B Yunel Escobar Ejected for Drawing Home Plate in the Dirt

It was a decent drawing in my opinion. But beauty is subjective and home plate umpire Tim Timmons didn’t find much after beholding.
Many will point to this as an example of overly sensitive umpires inserting themselves into the game. Arguing balls and strikes is a sure-fire way to get the hook. So while this was hilarious, it was also quite warranted.
Escobar perhaps disagrees.
Yunel Escobar declined to speak to reporters after today's loss. "F*** that s***," he said when asked to answer questions.
