Darryl Strawberry Says He Had Sex Between Innings of Mets Games in the 80s

Darryl Strawberry has his share of wild stories about his time as a New York Met. He was asked about several by Evan Cohen and Mike Babchik Thursday on Morning Men.
Strawberry was asked if he’d ever had sex at the ballpark.
"“When I was on the road yes, probably,” he said. “There was a great possibility.”"
Upon further questioning, Strawberry admitted that these liaisons took place during games.
"“It happened between the innings,” he said. “It worked out well just how crazy it was. It kind of worked out that way. You organize it; you point her out and tell the kid.”"
Major League Baseball certainly was different in the 1980s.
Strawberry and Doc Gooden are the subject of ESPN’s latest 30 for 30 film, which explores the highs and lows of each man’s career and personal struggle. They both probably have a reservoir of anecdotes not suitable for the public, so the mid-game coitus revelation isn’t entirely shocking.
The craziest part is the fact that Strawberry did this will playing in the National League. Imagine what could have gone down had he been a designated hitter with no defensive duties and ample free time.
