VIDEO: Myles Turner, DeAndre Jordan, and Kristaps Porzingis Talk Sliding Into DMs

Slam’s Alexis Morgan caught up with some NBA players on the ESPYs red carpet and asked them their take on sliding into DM’s. For those not versed in this lexicon, this means trying to meet members of the opposite sex thru private social media media messages; the privacy is not always upheld by recipients.

DeAndre Jordan said succinctly it “goes down in the DMs” and Myles Turner had a longer response.

“You know what?” Turner said. “If you’re really thirsty and you really need to quench your thirst, you’ve gotta do it. But at the same time you’ve just gotta be careful about what you say because even just saying ‘Hi’ makes you look hecka thirsty.”

Asked a follow-up about his own standards and practices, Turner replied matter of factly, “Yeah. I won’t even lie about that. I slide head first.”

Devin Booker would neither confirm nor deny whether he slides into DMs; Kristaps Porzingis quickly nodded yes.

There was a pretty sizable amount of candor to go around in this video.
