Mauro Icardi's Wife Appeared To Confirm Arsenal Rumor With Twitter Location

Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi is rumored to be making a move to Arsenal. Icardi is 23. He has scored 43 goals in 78 club appearances the past two seasons. He would not be as expensive as Gonzalo Higuain. Buying from Serie A is good value. This seems far more reasonable than most Arsenal transfer rumors.

Italian outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport reported Icardi’s wife Wanda was in London meeting with Arsenal. She appeared to confirm that on Twitter. She wished a happy day to her friends this morning, from London.

Not definitive news. She could have other business to attend to. Gazzetta also say Arsenal have not put forward an offer to Inter Milan yet. But, that won’t stop the Internet from running wild.

Brexit has not officially happened yet, so Icardi, who has European citizenship despite having one cap for Argentina, would not have to apply for a work permit.

Wanda Icardi was formerly married to another Argentine player Maxi Lopez, which caused some notable 2014 tension.
