Evander Kane, the Buffalo Sabres left winger, turned himself in to police Friday morning. The 24-year old was charged with one count of misdemenor criminal trespass and four non-criminal harassment violations, stemming from an incident at the Buffalo bar, Bottoms Up, in June.

The Buffalo News says that Kane allegedly had physical encounters with four people – three women and a male bouncer. Two women filed charges with the police in late June according to WIVB. Here’s how one of the women described the incident to WKBW:

"“He came up to me, gave me a hug then proceeded to put his hands around my neck for a couple seconds – almost losing my breath. Then I got out of that situation and then later in the night he came back up, he pulled my shirt down and said inappropriate things and then later in the night again for the last thing took me by my wrists and dragged me to the back of Bottoms Up, took me to his car saying, cause I was screaming trying to say, ‘Stop, stop, stop.’ He said, ‘You’re making a scene, get in my car, you slut.’ And then I proceeded to go back to the bouncers at Bottoms Up.”"

Kane has denied all charges. The bar’s general manager said that Kane was not involved.

Kane was investigated for a sexual offence in December but was cleared earlier this year.
