Josh Gordon has been reinstated to the NFL. Ian Rapoport is reporting the Cleveland Browns wideout will be suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season, but will be allowed back into the league after being banned for the entire 2015 season.

Gordon has played just five games since the 2013 season. That year he led the NFL in receiving yards (1,646) and reached the Pro Bowl and was named first-team All-Pro. Off-field incidents have completely derailed the 25-year-old’s career, but he will finally have a chance to get back to football this fall. Oddly enough, he will be eligible for Cleveland’s Week 5 matchup against the New England Patriots, who will feature Tom Brady in his return from a four-game suspension.

Gordon will also be reunited with his college quarterback, Robert Griffin III and both men try to turn their careers around.

If he’s really serious about football and wants to stay eligible, Gordon needs to change the way he does things off the field. He has been arrested and suspended numerous times and still hangs out with Johnny Manziel. It’s time for him to grow up and embrace this opportunity to turn around his life and career. If he doesn’t, this reinstatement won’t last long.
