Nick Kyrgios is Way Too Distracted by Pokemon Go, Lost to 370th-Ranked 17-Year Old

Nick Kyrgios, the 19th-ranked tennis player in the world, lost to 17-year old Denis Shapovalov in the first round of the Rogers Cup on Monday. Shapovalov won the Wimbledon junior singles title earlier this month, but came into the match as the 370th ranked player in the world and did not expect to win. For Kyrgios, this may be a new on-court low. The good news is that he now has the rest of the week to play Pokemon Go, which he has been tweeting about non-stop. Just what Nick Kyrgios needed – another distraction.
