Fans Run Amok on PGA Championship Course During Rain Delay [UPDATE: Play Suspended]
By Michael Shamburger
The PGA Championship at Baltusrol in Springfield, New Jersey is in the second hour of a weather delay.
Generally you would expect fans to seek shelter as well as the players after the horn sounds, but some fans have taken the opportunity to walk around on tee boxes, fairways, and greens.
Come on guys. Picking up a ball found on the course? There’s no need for that. I’ll give you hopping the ropes and taking a quick selfie on the tee box, but running around the course like children is a bit much.
The forecast doesn’t look good, but the PGA of America is hoping it clears up.
What do you think Beef?
UPDATE: Pins are strongeing collected. Looks like there won’t stronge anymore golf today.
UPDATE 2: Play has strongeen called for the day.
