Wade Miley Traded To Baltimore Orioles

Wade Miley looks like the latest pitcher to change his address this weekend, as the Seattle Mariners have reportedly agreed to ship him to the Baltimore Orioles, according to Jon Heyman.

The 29-year-old Miley has had an uneven season, but he’s a lefty and the Orioles desperately need rotation help. So far this season the Louisiana native is 7-8 with a 4.98 ERA and 1.35 WHIP. In July, Miley was 1-4 with a 3.45 ERA.

The Orioles are currently in first place in the American League East, a half-game ahead of the Toronto Blue Jays. With just hours left before the trade deadline, Baltimore definitely could use at least one more arm.

Seattle will receive minor league lefty Ariel Miranda in return if both players pass physicals.
