ESPN's Tom Jackson to Retire

NFL analyst Tom Jackson has decided to retire after 29 years at ESPN, the company announced today. His final assignment will be the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement this weekend. Bob Raismann of the New York Daily News last week reported Jackson was weighing his options and unlikely to return.

With Jackson stepping aside and the departures of Mike Ditka, Cris Carter and Keyshawn Johnson, Chris Berman is the only returning member of Sunday Countdown. The Big Lead has reported this is Berman’s final year on the show.
