Judd Apatow Threw Out a Funny First Pitch While Wearing Cargo Shorts

Judd Apatow threw out the ceremonial first pitch before Tuesday’s Mets – Yankees game at CitiField. Quite frankly, his throwing motion looks like that of a comedy writer. (You can watch the first pitch at MLB.com.) I can’t tell if that is really the face he makes when he throws a baseball or if he was trying to become a meme / embarrass his children. Both seem like real possibilities.

It should also be noted that Apatow wore cargo shorts for the pitch. This was impeccable timing as the Wall Street Journal became the latest publication to reignite the stupid Are Cargo Shorts Evil and/or Unfashionable? debate earlier in the day. Obviously, Apatow’s first pitch was a strike against anyone on the pro-cargo shorts side of things, but still, shut up about cargo shorts. All of you.
