Awesome Handball Goal Disallowed Because of Stupid Rules

Denmark beat Argentina, 25-19, in Group A of the Olympic men’s handball tournament on Sunday. The game featured a really weird and awesome goal that didn’t count. This is that goal. The disallowed goal was scored by Federico Pizarro on a penalty shot. Apparently, a penalty shot in handball means that the entire other team stands 10-feet in front of you and forms a wall. I can’t imagine how this would work for the offense, but Federico Pizarro bent space and time to bend the defense until it broke. Unfortunately, his foot came off the ground so the shot didn’t count. When something this awesome happens, rules should be ignored. That is my professional opinion on why this should have been a goal.
