Bruce Bochy Hospitalized, Won't Manage Giants In Miami Opener

Bruce Bochy has been hospitalized in Miami after falling ill on Monday morning. The 61-year-old San Francisco Giants manager will miss Monday night’s game against the Marlins.

The Giants have not said what sent him to the hospital but claim he is “resting comfortably” and will be monitored over night. Bochy is expected to rejoin the team on Tuesday.

Bochy has led the Giants to three World Series titles and currently has them in first place in the National League West, with a one-game lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Here’s hoping he’s OK and does return to the dugout quickly.
