Jonathan Papelbon, Like Everyone Else, Enjoys Having Fewer Responsibilities at Work

Jonathan Papelbon is no longer the closer for the Washington Nationals, having been replaced by recent acquisition Mark Melancon. During Sunday’s 1-0 win over the Giants, Papelbon enjoyed his time in the sun while Melancon warmed up before striking out 2 and earning the save. Melancon was having a nice season in Pittsburgh, but he’s been lights out since arriving in Washington. Now he and Papelbon are both having nice seasons.
