Larry David Still Thinks He Could Be Offensive Coordinator for the Jets

Larry David was a guest in-studio for the Dan Patrick Show (Charissa Thompson was guest-hosting). After saying he would attend Jets training camp and personally tell Ryan Fitzpatrick to shave his beard, LD was asked about a previous assertion that he could be an NFL offensive coordinator, and he doubled down.

“I’m not joking,” Larry said. “I’m positive I could be an offensive coordinator. I think if I just studied, if I just hung around, and just learned a little bit. Give me one season shadowing an offensive coordinator – one season – and I KNOW I can do it. What could be so hard about it? You make up plays! Why is that so hard? I am creative, in certain respects, and I think I could do it.”

It seems safe to say we’ll never find out the answer to this hypothetical.
