En nu ligt Mexico er tussendoor ook al uit. PSV target Kwon Chang-Hoon zorgde met deze treffer voor uitschakeling.pic.twitter.com/5i36RUMO67

South Korea’s Kwon Chang-Hoon ran through the Mexican defense to score in the 77th minute. The 1-0 win eliminated defending gold medalist Mexico in the group stage.
This is another setback for Mexico, who were eliminated earlier this summer in Copa America with a 7-0 drubbing by Chile. Though, it’s a far less serious one.
South Korea is through to the quarterfinal. That’s kind of a big deal for them. If they win an Olympic medal, players get exempted from mandatory military service.
