Michael Jordan Did Something Cool For the Fan Who Went Viral Wearing His Jersey

Last month a short video made the rounds showing a guy playing pickup basketball dressed in a complete Michael Jordan uniform, all the way down to the calf sleeve. After the video went viral, a local news station tracked the man down. He is 33-year old Jeffrey Harrison from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Harrison, who has Autism, spends a lot of time watching old Jordan videos and working on his own basketball game. Since 2010, Harrison has alternated two Jordan uniforms when he played basketball, but from now on he’ll have many more options. After an initial report about Harrison and his fandom, KREM reached out to Jordan’s camp. The response was awesome. Harrison received a giant box full of Jordan Brand shoes and clothing. Harrison also got a phone call and a letter from Jordan himself. Awesome stuff from everyone involved.
