Ilya Zakharov won a gold medal in the 3-meter springboard diving event at the London Olympics, but his experience this time around was a little different. The 25-year-old Russian bowed out in the semifinals after one of the worst dives we’ve ever seen.
Zakharov scored a 0.0 on his fourth dive of the semis on Tuesday and never recovered. He finished in 18th (dead last) with a score of 345.60.
