VIDEO: Hunter Pence Literally Stumbled Into Greatness

Hunter Pence isn’t the most fundamentally sound baseball player but one can’t argue with his results. If anything, his herky-jerky movements and unorthodox way of doing things have endeared him to the undeniably quirky Giants fan base.

Pence was up to his old tricks Monday night, somehow snagging a Josh Harrison foul fly despite stumbling over a bullpen mound. It was not the type of effort you’d see on a Tom Emanski video. When keeping one’s teeth becomes more important than catching the ball, it’s a clear sign something has gone terribly wrong.

But an F-9 is an F-9, no matter how adventurous or routine.
