WWE Suspends Alberto Del Rio for Wellness Violation

Alberto Del Rio has been suspended for 30 days for violating WWE’s wellness policy, the company announced today. Anecdotally, Del Rio appeared to be much bigger in his most recent WWE run than he had been before, and I’m not just saying this now:
If Alberto Del Rio had this profound physical transformation as a 38-year-old MLB player, there would, uh, be some questions.

"Look in the shape he's in. That's what a champion looks like" -- JBL on Alberto Del Rio who, um, magically? got RIPPED at age 38.

That being said, we do not know what exactly triggered this suspension, and WWE does not typically publicize.
With WWE, you always want to present rumors with the caveat that the reporting can not always be seen as the gospel, but there have been persistent stories of late that Alberto Del Rio has been a thorn in the side of some backstage. It would not be a major surprise if his latest tenure at WWE concludes sooner than later.
Del Rio joins Roman Reigns as a visible superstar being suspended for a Wellness Policy violation in 2016.
