It’s Little League World Series time and that means three things.

  1. New friends
  2. Subpar umpiring
  3. ESPN guys in performance polos

Get excited.

John Kruk used his soft hands to make a fine barehanded grab on a foul ball this afternoon to set the Web Gem bar high for the rest of the tournament. Sure, be bobbled it a bit, but that’s to be expected with such a hot shot.

It’s great to see Kruk has maintained all of the athleticism that made him such a star and discovered some newfound courage in retirement.
