Ingrid Oliveira and Giovanna Pedroso finished last in the women’s synchronized 10m platform dive last week. The Brazilian pair had only recently become partners, specifically to represent their home country at the Olympics. That partnership is now over after Oliveira, 20, allegedly kicked Pedroso, 17, out of their room the night before their event so she could have “marathon” sex with her boyfriend, who has been referred to as Brazilian athlete Pedro Gonçalves (a.k.a. Pedro Henrique Gonçalves da Silva; a.k.a. Pedro da Silva). He finished 6th in the canoe slalom kayak event last week.

The story looks like it started to spread around the English media this Monday, but probably didn’t get the attention it deserved because of the whole American Swimmers Gas Station Adventures thing. Figured we might as well make note of this in case any of these kids do something notable in the 2020 games. I mean, blogs will still exist then, right?

Yeah. This is timeless stuff.
