Tom Brady Cut Himself With Scissors, Seems Doomed to Never Play This Season
Tom Brady missed yet another game on Thursday night when he was a last minute, injury-related benching in the Patriots preseason game against the Chicago Bears. Brady, who sat the Pats first preseason game to get used to missing the start of a season, cut himself in the locker room with a pair of scissors. CSNNE has all the details:
"Apparently, Brady was trying to pry something from the bottom of his cleat prior to taking the field and sustained the cut. It’s not known whether the cut required stitches or how long the wound will put him on the sidelines. It is standard practice for the Patriots to let players who are not playing in preseason games to leave the stadium."
So to put this in terms we would use if this were Yasiel Puig – Tom Brady wasn’t going to play so he left the stadium before the game started. The good news is, Brady has about 6 weeks to heal.
