Boxer Shakur Stevenson Breaks Down In Post-Fight Interview

Shakur Stevenson is a 19-year-old boxer from New Jersey who made it all the way to the gold-medal match Saturday against Cuba’s Robeisy Ramirez Carrazana.
That fight went to a split decision, leaving the Cuban with the gold medal and Stevenson with the silver.
On NBC after the fight, Stevenson couldn’t contain his disappointment.

Sugar Ray Leonard was watching the fight, and was touched enough by Stevenson’s reaction to send a message out to the young fighter.

Leonard, who went 36-3-1 in his career, won gold in the 1976 Olympic Games.
