The FedExCup Playoffs are Here: A Quick Glance at the Current Standings

With the final tournament of the regular season behind us, the Wyndham Championship won by Si Woo Kim, we can start focusing on the FedExCup Playoffs. If the current standings and last year’s finish gives us any sort of glimpse into what we may see this year, strap in and hold on because the next four tournaments are for all the money and there’s plenty of guys within striking distance of the title.

2015-2016 FedExCup standings

These next four tournaments, which include The Barclays, Deutsche Bank Championship, BMW Championship, and TOUR Championship, are made up of fields that are whittled down from 125 players to 30 players. While most tournaments throughout the season are worth a total of 500 points with the major championship winners earning 600, the winner of each FedExCup event will earn 2,000 points and edge closer to making the field of 30 entered into the TOUR Championship at East Lake in Atlanta.

After the BMW Championship, the points are reset. This gives any of the players in the top 30 a better chance at winning the overall title and makes the final event more exciting.

Here are the current top 125 players entered into The Barclay’s:
