Ezekiel Elliott Visited a Marijuana Dispensary Before Running Over Kam Chancellor Repeatedly in Seattle
Ezekiel Elliott wore his best-selling jersey for the first time on Thursday, rushing for 48 yards on seven carries in a preseason loss to the Seattle Seahawks. He also made multiple headlines off the field. First it was reported that Elliott – the guy who showed off his abs at the NFL Draft – showed up to training camp out of shape. And right before the game, Elliott stopped at a local Seattle marijuana dispensary. He didn’t buy anything, but he was caught on video and Jerry Jones was forced to address the “news.” Via ESPN:
"“Well, I think that in and of itself the reason we are talking about is in a way part of the learning process,” Jones said after the Cowboys’ loss to the Seattle Seahawks Thursday. “But it’s not good. It’s just not good. It’s just not good.”"
Obviously, if Elliott didn’t buy anything, it’s not really a big deal. Even TMZ noted that Seattle dispensaries double as a tourist attraction – like Pike Place Market, with fewer fish being thrown. As usual, the main problem is the NFL and their ridiculous anti-weed agenda.
As for the on-the-field stuff, if Elliott continues to perform like he did on Thursday night, Jerry Jones will stop answering questions about his running back’s sightseeing habits. Just watch this dude respond after Kam Chancellor lit him up.
