Matt Besler isn’t know for his goal-scoring prowess. Entering Friday the American defender had never found the back of the net in 35 caps for the United States national team. That’s now changed, as he put one past St. Vincent and the Grenadines keeper Lemus Christopher in the 32nd minute. The goal was special because it came on the day of Besler’s daughter’s birth.

Yes, Besler had to miss his daughter being born to play in Friday’s World Cup qualifier, but hey at least he scored. Once he did, the rest of his teammates surrounded him and did the classic “rock the baby” celebration. Check it out:

" GOOOOAAAALL!@MattBesler half volleys @ussoccer to a 0-2 lead. #Russia2018 https://t.co/2WPEvlTFxx — beIN SPORTS USA (@beINSPORTSUSA) September 2, 2016 "

Besler’s daughter Parker will always be able to say her dad scored a goal for her. That’s pretty cool.

The U.S. leads 3-0 at the half.
