Brady Bowen is a 24-year old reliever on the St. Louis Cardinals single-A New York-Penn League team, the State College Spikes. Bowen had a rough outing last week when he gave up 5 runs on 4 hits in 1.1 innings of work in a 8-6 Spikes win over the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. He did however salvage his outing by making an incredible barehanded catch to end the 8th inning.

Indians prospect Gavin Collins hit a line drive right back through the pitcher’s mound and Bowen just stuck his hand out and snagged the ball like somebody had tossed him a tennis ball. This catch was so nice it was able to sneak onto the SportsCenter Top 10 during the opening weekend of college football season.
