Controversial Truck Race Ending Capped With Driver Tackling Winner
John Hunter Nemechek held off Cole Custer to win a Camping World Truck Series race on Sunday at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Ontario. Well, technically Nemechek bumped and rubbed Custer, pushing him off the track at the last minute so he could inch out a win. As far as truck racing goes, it was pretty great.
Custer did not enjoy it as much as the fans and decided to seek revenge immediately after the race, running full speed at his nemesis and tackling him next to the track. The pair were quickly separated, some shouting was exchanged and Custer retreated across the track and over a barrier.
And because I know people like it, here is the Jim Ross call of the race and tackle.
