Brandon Marshall has followed in Colin Kaepernick’s footsteps and on Thursday night during the first game of the NFL season he kneeled during the national anthem. The 26-year-old linebacker was the only member of the Denver Broncos not to stand during the anthem, and all of the Carolina Panthers remained on their feet.

We expect the number of players joining Kaepernick’s protest to grow over the weekend as the NFL fully kicks off its 2016 season.
