Stipe Miocic, fighting in his hometown Cleveland for UFC 203, beat Alistair Overeem in the first round via TKO. Overeem actually knocked Miocic down at the beginning of the match, but Miocic rebounded and retained the heavyweight title. At the end, he landed several un-defensed shots to the head. The referee declared the fight over with 34 seconds remaining in the first round, and the building went wild.
