Davis Love III Announces Fowler, Holmes, and Kuchar as Ryder Cup Captain's Picks

Davis Love III actually had a few tough decisions to make regarding his captain’s picks for the U.S. Ryder Cup team. No matter who Love were to pick this year, fans were likely going to be upset with one or more of them. The issue Love faced was no one really stepped up over the last three weeks with great play and screamed “PUT ME ON THIS TEAM.”

On Monday, Love announced three of his captain’s picks:

• Rickie Fowler
• J.B. Holmes
• Matt Kuchar

These three guys shouldn’t come as any surprise. I had them all on the team last night because I felt they were the easiest picks for Love to make.

Bubba Watson will have to play his way onto the team at East Lake or he risks losing it to someone like Daniel Berger.
