Shaq and Ron Artest's Sons Played Each Other in a High School Tournament

Shareef O’Neal has been in the news (blogs) recently because his parents – Shaunie and Shaquille O’Neal – have been discussing his NBA prospects through TMZ interviews. ESPN currently has Shareef as the 18th-ranked player in the Class of 2018. (Scout has him at 23.) Over the weekend Shareef found himself in a matchup with Ron Artest III at the Ron Massey Classic.

Metta World Peace’s son didn’t get into basketball until a couple years ago and he’s unranked nationally (Class of ’17) on ESPN, but it’s hard to imagine him not getting some D1 interest. At least based on my one-time viewing of this video from the Crossroads – Beverly Hills High game.
