Michael Rapaport Discussed Dating Girl Who'd Made Whoopee With Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen

Michael Rapaport joined the Anna Faris Is Unqualified podcast this past January; this clip got uploaded to YouTube in June, and crossed my Twitter timeline this morning. At the beginning of the clip, Rapaport and Faris were going to do a mock acting bit. Faris said she’d be a blonde girl named Amy. Rapaport quickly rejected this notion, and a long tangent began. As Rapaport explained, he “had an interval” with a midwestern girl named Amy in the 1990’s, and apparently found out during the course of this period that she had previously had intercourse with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. Rapaport and Faris then role-played how the conversation in which this tidbit was revealed went down.

Towards the end, Rapaport explains why finding out about athlete conquests was more rare at this time. “This is pre-Internet, this is pre-cellphones,” he said. “This is when athletes could really do their thing. Like now, if you’re a celebrity and you’re a young athlete, you can’t get down the way Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan got down. There’s too many variables. This is before all that. This is in the 90’s when you could run free and be the savage you really wanna be.”
