Adrian Peterson Injures Right Leg, Carried To Locker Room

Adrian Peterson is the heart and soul of the Minnesota Vikings’ offense, and he left Sunday night’s matchup with the Green Bay Packers with an injury.

On a run in the middle of the third quarter, Peterson’s right leg hit the turf awkwardly. He was down for a few minutes, then had to be helped to the sideline, as he couldn’t put any weight on the leg. The trainers were focused on his knee on the sideline before literally carrying him to the locker room.

Peterson was almost immediately ruled out for the game:
