Police Evacuate Area Near Chargers Stadium Due To Suspicious Package (UPDATE)

The San Diego Chargers are currently thumping the Jacksonville Jaguars, but pretty big news was made just a short distance from the playing field. Police “evacuated and secured” a trolley station near the stadium after a suspicious package was found in the area. The city’s bomb squad is currently investigating the situation.

Trolley service to the area has obviously been suspended as the police continue their investigation.

We’ll provide an update as soon as we hear anything.
