Phillies Rookie Swings, Misses, Throws Bat Into Stands

Jorge Alfaro, a rookie catcher for the Phillies, appeared in just his 4th career game on Sunday. Alfaro went 0-for-4 (He’s 1-10 in his career so far.) in a Philadelphia loss to the Marlins, but he did throw his bat into the crowd, scaring the bejesus out of everyone in this section. Amazingly – and thankfully – no one was starring at their phone when the bat came flying in their direction.
