Michigan State's Best Offense Against Wisconsin Was Tackling Defenders Following Horrible Throws

Wisconsin traveled to East Lansing and dismantled Michigan State, 30-6. The Badgers put on a dominant defensive performance, forcing four turnovers (which directly led to 13 points). How sad was the Spartans’ Tyler O’Connor-led offense? At a certain point they realized the best way to move the football was to tackle members of the Wisconsin defense trying to snare errant throws.

The above video features the only time such a ploy worked — a 10-yard reception by Jamal Lyles. No team should ever use this strategy going forward. The results speak for themselves.
