Cam Newton rumbled for a 1st down, got up and flipped the ball at a Falcons player, and then signaled first down.
Newton must have signaled first down at least 15 times last year. I can’t recall him ever getting a penalty. Maybe he got it more for flipping the ball to the Falcons player than the point?
