Andy Murray Once Woke Up to a Stalker Sitting on His Bed, Stroking His Arm

Andy Murray won his first round match in the China Open today. At some point in his trip, Murray sat down to talk to Anusha Dandekar for the International Premier Tennis League’s Facebook. Dandekar asked Murray what was the craziest thing a fan ever did? Murray’s answer was both amusing and terrifying. Dandekar asks the question around the 1:05 mark.

So he woke up with a hotel maid sitting on his bed, stroking his arm. And then he saw her at multiple other hotels on tour. He’s lucky he’s able to relay this story as an amusing anecdote all these years later because the fact that a stalker was able to gain entrance into his room while he was sleeping is terrifying.
