Cam Newton is being sued by Stacy Keibler’s husband, according to TMZ. Newton apparently rented an $11 million Beverly Hills mansion from a rental company managed by Jared Pobre back in March. This came in the wake of the Panthers’ Super Bowl loss. Via TMZ:

"Newton paid $123k to rent the place for 61 days — and agreed there would be NO PARTIES, no smoking and no more than 8 guests. Problem is … the housekeeper snitched — telling the rental company Newton had been throwing multiple parties and leaving cigarette ashes all over the house."

Cigarette ash wasn’t the worst of it.

"he broke an expensive fridge, caused water damage to the floors, ruined linens and worst of all … destroyed a fancy $32,000 rug."

The total damage was $90K, plus the loss of rent during the two months it took to repair everything. Newton is being sued for $270,324.47 plus legal fees.

During the time he rented the house, Cam attended the final Kobe – LeBron game and played water polo. And hosted a bunch of cigarette smoking parties if the lawsuit is to be believed. Later in the summer he moved on to Atlanta to support the local arts.
