DJ Stephens, Back in Memphis, Can Still Fly

DJ Stephens is playing for the Memphis Grizzlies this preseason, back in the city where people first saw him dunk on a national stage. Despite mediocre college numbers (7.6 points, 6.6 rebounds in 23 minutes a game as a senior) he’s been around the NBA since he finished his career at Memphis in 2013.

Stephens has only appeared in 3 NBA games, but he’s spent time with the Heat, Mavericks, Bucks, Pelicans, Cavaliers, and now, the Grizzlies. And here he is, flying through the air for a pretty great alley-oop dunk. Just like he always has.
