Chris Leak is being investigated for sexual assault according to a report by the Orlando Sentinel. The former Florida quarterback is accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl on September 5 of this year.

The 31-year-old Leak was the head coach at Edgewater High School in Florida before resigning on Monday after an 0-5 start. He allegedly asked the 16-year-old to give him a massage in the athletic trainer’s office at the school. After Leak came out of the shower wearing just a towel, the girl told detectives she massaged the back of his legs. He then asked her to massage the front of his legs and took her hands put them on his genitals.

She told police her hand “grazed” his genitals a few times, then she left. Leak then called the girl, bought her food and took her home. Police said the girl was “very upset” when recounting the incident. The girl also told a friend about the incident and Leak gave the friend $100.

No charges have been filed against Leak, as the investigation is ongoing.

Leak helped lead Florida to the 2007 BCS national title and played professionally in the NFL, CFL and Arena Football League.
