Mike Piazza Enjoyed Some Red Wine During the Mets-Giants Wild Card Game

Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza watched his former team lose to the San Francisco Giants in the National League Wild Card game from a box at Citi Field. He paired the nail-biting action with a nice glass of red wine because he’s Mike Piazza and he’ll drink wine at the ballpark if he pleases.

Drinking overpriced merlot instead of overpriced light beer at the game has never crossed most baseball fans’ minds but that could all change. It is, after all, a thinking man’s game.

Piazza may have just changed everything. I, for one, would greatly enjoy watching the spillage during foul ball scrambles. Absolute chaos.
