RG3's Estranged Wife Reportedly Asks Court for QB to Pay for Her Lawyers

Robert Griffin III officially filed divorce from his wife of three years, Rebecca Liddicoat, on September 7th. Before that, RG3 had already moved on, and was dating Florida State track athlete Grete Sadeiko, whose name he already had tattooed on his forearm.

In his divorce filing, RG3’s legal team wrote, “The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between petitioner and respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”

Today, TMZ reports that in her response to the divorce petition Liddicoat has requested for Griffin to pay her legal fees pertaining to this case. Previously, TMZ noted:

"In the divorce docs, filed in Texas, RG3 also says he wants Liddicoat to have primary physical custody of their 1-year-old daughter … and he has agreed to pay child support. However, Griffin notes that he wants to be “joint managing conservators” — which would give him shared authority to make major decisions in his daughter’s life."

Presumably still unresolved are the exact amount of child support that RG3 will owe, as well as the specifics of the language in the custody agreement.
