Brent, Miko Grimes Owe Almost $200,000 In Unpaid Taxes

Brent Grimes and his wife Miko Grimes are one of the NFL’s most controversial couples and on Thursday more bad news surfaced for the duo. According to the Miami Herald, the Grimes family owes $191,471 to the IRS.

A lien on their home in Davie, Florida obtained be the Herald says that the pair is in arrears from 2014, and the lien was placed on their $1.2 million home as a result. Grimes signed a two-year, $16.5 million deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March and the pair bought the home in early 2014.

This is just the latest controversy for Brent and his wife. Miko Grimes has drawn harsh criticism for her use of twitter. She ripped the Miami Dolphins mercilessly during and after Brent’s time with the team, even making anti-semitic remarks about owner Stephen Ross and Executive Vice President Mike Tannenbaum. Oh, she was also arrested in the parking lot of a Dolphins game for battery of a police officer.

Honestly, give all of the above incidents, having a massive unpaid tax bill seems like a welcome respite from the usual insanity.
