During an interview with 105.3 The Fan, Irving dropped this bit of information.

“I’m telling you, when I listen to this boy talk about running the football like that, it just makes me want to go in the bathroom and spend some time by myself,” he said. “I just love it so much. You know, those young days, when you’d go to the bathroom and spend time by yourself.”

All dudes know exactly what Irving is referring to. Who among us can forget the singular thrill of being 12-years-old and bringing a cordless house phone into the restroom to call friends and talk Cowboys football? If only there was good, clean joy to be experienced as an adult.

It’s awesome that Elliott is giving another generation the chance to experience such pleasure.

Get your mind out of the gutter. Irvin would never work blue.
