Oklahoma State’s Jordan Sterns intercepted a deep pass by Kansas quarterback Montell Cozart late in the third quarter. Then the fun really began. The Cowboys defense decided to use the opportunity to practice its end-of-game lateral play.
This was a very difficult sequence to follow, between the deflections and fancy ball-handling. In fact, it kind of seemed like work. Tough to imagine how annoying it was for the Kansas offensive players trying to make the tackle.
